Eichelsdorf

Eichelsdorf is a village idyllically situated between fields and forests at the foot of the Hassberge mountains. Like eight other villages, it belongs to the town of Hofheim, 3 kilometers away in Lower Franconia, Bavaria.
The area invites you to go hiking and cycling and to visit the many castles and fortresses.
In addition to good rural cuisine and a farm store with regional products, there is a moated castle in Eichelsdorf, whose large, old vaulted cellar was converted into a community center and completed in 2023. it also houses an event room that we want to fill with life. Eichelsdorf also has a lively village and community life with a large number of clubs. And once a year at the beginning of July, a large, two-day country festival has been taking place for over 25 years now, attracting guests from near and far.
