Adele Felici lives in Marcellina, near Rome. In 2006, she began studying theatre at the La Pietra Parla Drama School in Trastevere (www.ruotalibera.eu). Over the years, she has attended numerous workshops in dance and body writing, physical theatre, vocal improvisation and expressive self-awareness with leading professionals in the field. In 2008, together with other artists and educators, she co-founded the cultural association OperaBuffaTeatro (now APS OperaBuffa), through which she has led numerous theatre workshops for children, young people and adults in Rome and its surrounding area. The association is also committed to cultural production that responds to the social realities of the local community and to the needs of children who are most vulnerable and at risk of social exclusion. In 2013, Adele Felici graduated in Educational Sciences from Roma Tre University with a thesis entitled Theatre and Self-Awareness: Theatre as a Pedagogical Setting. Since 2014, she has been writing and staging street theatre performances presented at numerous festivals and events in Italy and abroad. Since 2019, she has worked as an educator at the Family Centre of the RM 5.2 Social and Health District, supporting families experiencing psychosocial difficulties, with a particular focus on adolescents.
