Body puppet performance.
Written and performed by Adele Felici, the performance is enriched by the presence of a body puppet created by Ilaria Olivari, a student of the internationally acclaimed and unique artist Natacha Belova. This extraordinary hybrid form of puppetry is “worn” by the actress-puppeteer, merging with her body without ever completely becoming one with it. The result is a symbiotic act of striking visual and emotional impact, endowed with a powerful imaginative force.
"Let’s leave a light on. Let’s make sure we can be found."
Social withdrawal, isolation and loneliness are among the great challenges of our time, particularly for younger generations. Through poetry and wonder, the performance invites audiences of all ages to reflect on the importance of communication and on every living being’s need to connect with others, to seek contact, “…despite the immense distances that separate us.”
The performance concludes with a tribute to the renowned Italian astrophysicist Margherita Hack.
