The Zora Folk Dance Ensemble of Mohács is one of the town’s best-known traditional folk groups, which has played an important role in Mohács’s cultural life for decades. The ensemble was founded in 1987, following in the footsteps of the town’s former ethnic traditional folk groups. Their performances feature Hungarian dances as well as Croatian, Serbian, Hungarian and Swabian dances from across the border. Mohács can be justifiably proud of its multi-ethnic traditions, customs and dances, which are recognised and renowned not only in Hungary but also abroad.
