HUNGARY
Selyeb is a small village in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, in northeastern Hungary, with a history dating back to the 13th century. First mentioned in written records in 1256, the settlement was once home to noble families, including the Péchy and Tisza families, whose former manor still serves as the village hall today. Surrounded by the peaceful landscapes of the Cserehát region, Selyeb preserves the quiet atmosphere and cultural heritage of rural Hungary while remaining closely connected to the traditions of its local community.
