ESTONIA
Choreographer, dancer and musician
Igor Lider is an Estonian-based choreographer, dancer and musician whose artistic practice bridges street dance, contemporary performance, improvisation and music. With nearly twenty-five years of experience in street dance and hip-hop culture, he has developed a distinctive movement language based on physical presence, individuality and collective dynamics.
His works explore the encounter between different dance styles and artistic backgrounds, often using improvisation to create a direct and constantly evolving relationship between performers, space and audience.
Recent productions include Muutus (Change), nominated for the 2023 Estonian Theatre Awards, Hetk (Moment) and Kaheksa (Eight). Lider was also the choreographer behind Tommy Cash’s performance at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
