Catalyst is a cultural production and project company founded in London in 1996 by Riccardo Rombi, actor, director and author with a vocation for new dramaturgy and the contamination of languages. Active in Florence since 1997, it combines the production activity in the field of innovation theatre and for the new generations, financed by the Mibact, with the artistic and cultural residency project supported since 2013 by the Region of Tuscany at the Teatro Corsini in Barberino di Mugello. Since 2000, it has maintained its organisational headquarters inside the Teatro Puccini in Florence, where it created the Scuola di Teatro Centro Ricerca e Formazione.
