Living Picture Theatre creates and realizes contemplative visual and participatory theater performances, experiential educational programs, and live visual art works based on the artistic concepts of Zsófia Bérczi. Zsófia Bérczi typically designs puppet-like, archetypal forms suitable for unfolding content – costumes, shrouds, forms, installations – and animates these to create live moving and changing images, i.e. living pictures, arranged in the space and scenery around them. She brings her visions to life in the most diverse performing and visual arts forms, in their combinations, and always strives for interdisciplinarity. Living Picture Theatre's participatory performances, experiential education and self-knowledge programs, exhibitions with a traditional stage-auditorium layout or a unique structure and space are hosted by both domestic and foreign venues.
