WANDER

Wander is a contemporary circus and physical theatre company based in the Czech Republic. Created by acrobats Jakub and Helena Urban, the project explores the relationship between people, nature and the landscape through movement, acrobatics and visual storytelling.
Blending poetic imagery with humour and physical virtuosity, Wander creates performances that invite audiences to reflect on human connections and our place within the natural world. The company embraces a sustainable approach to touring, travelling mainly on foot and by public transport, turning the journey itself into an integral part of the artistic experience.
Developed by an international creative team from the Czech Republic, Finland, Australia and Germany, Wander combines contemporary circus, physical theatre and original music to create intimate and imaginative performances for diverse audiences. Two performers, two backpacks and a wealth of acrobatic invention make every encounter with Wander a unique expedition.
