Wander is a contemporary circus and physical theatre performance inspired by the landscape, the earth and the people who inhabit it. Combining humour, poetry and acrobatic virtuosity, the show explores the invisible connections that bind human beings to nature and to one another.
Created and performed by Helena and Jakub Urban together with an international artistic team from the Czech Republic, Finland, Australia and Germany, Wander invites audiences of all ages into an imaginative journey where movement and circus become a language for reflecting on biodiversity, coexistence and belonging. Sometimes playful, sometimes contemplative, the performance balances lightness and depth through a rich blend of partner acrobatics and physical storytelling.
Sustainability is at the heart of the project: the company travels mainly on foot and by public transport, making the journey itself an integral part of the artistic experience. With two performers, two backpacks and a wealth of acrobatic invention, Wander becomes an expedition that brings audiences closer to the natural world and to each other.
