A native resident of Švėkšna – here I was born and live. Thus, am a patriot of this region, a tireless public person, writer and archivist of native town’s chronicles (I constantly commemorate most important events and historical facts of Šilutė district in the regional newspapers with the articles and photographs), active member of the Emilija Pliaterytė’s Memory Society and chairman of the Švėkšna Community Society “Tėviškė” (“Homeland”). Organizer and leader of many events and meetings. Also, I am self-taught artist: photographer, moulder of angels, painter, bookbinder, author of prosaic poetry.
