Marco Jansen

Marco Jansen is 43 years old, married and the father of a lively boy. He studied media economics with a focus on marketing and communications management and has worked at various cultural institutions throughout Germany, including as Head of Communications and Marketing at the Landesbühnen Sachsen.
After returning home, he founded EMJAY PROJECTS, an agency for culture, events and artists. With this agency, he launched the KneipenSounds concert series and the BAMBOLA - Hürth Festival of Puppets in Hürth.
He has also established the Hürther KneipenKulTour music festival and the KLANGSZENENBILD cultural program with strong partners in Hürth on a voluntary basis.
Marco Jansen is involved as a local politician (expert citizen) in the committee for culture, sport and swimming pools and is a candidate for the city council in 2025.
