Norbert Káló

My name is Norbert Káló, I am a social worker. I mainly work in Szendrőlád in the districts of Edelény and Putnok, and I am the leader of the “Jelenlét Pont” and the professional leader in the professional programs implemented by our Bhim Rao Association. My work and my life are always determined by the will to act, help and enablement. I can honestly say that I am a fortunate person in that I believe my work is my vocation: I am in contact with hundreds of children on a daily basis, and I monitor their progress. I always measure my daily challenges by my results, and by who, how, and what I was able to help, what kind of community program I was able to organize, what effect it had on the participants. It is very important to me that people believe and trust me. It is no coincidence that I have been the municipal representative of our settlement since 2006, for which I am grateful. I try to live my everyday life in such a way that I have time for my family, my work and the implementation of the many planned programs. I have great community organizing power, I am proud to be a Gypsy and I am proud of our twenty-year professional past and present.
