Homrogd

HUNGARY
Homrogd is a village in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, Hungary. It is located 25 km to Miskolc which is a county seat in northeastern Hungary. Homrogd was first mentioned in 1256. The village depopulated during the Turkish times, it started to develop again in the middle of the 18th century. Ethnic groups: In 2022, 94.3% of the village’s population declared themselves Hungarian, 17% Gypsy, 5,7% Ruthenian, 0.1-0.1% Croatian, German, Romanian and Ukrainian, 0,7% others.
