Rásonysápberencs

Rásonysápberencs is a village in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County, Hungary. It lies about 30 km northeast of Miskolc, in the Szikszó district. The present settlement was formed in 1938 by merging three historic villages: Abaújsáp, Rásony, and Szárazberencs, each dating back to the 13th–14th centuries. The area suffered depopulation during the Turkish occupation but was resettled in the 18th century. Notable sights include the 12th and the 18th-century Reformed church. Additionally, the village features a separated bell tower and the Csoma-Farkas manor house. Population in 2024: 519.
