I'm Nagy Márta. According to my degree (which doesn’t matter) I am a Reformed religion teacher, currently (what matters) having sick retiree status but a “full time” mom.
We could enjoy the upbringing of our 7 children, and of course we could struggle, as well (we still do) for and with them. This year, unfortunately, brought the biggest blow of our lives, our eldest child became the innocent victim of a car accident.
In addition to / despite the pain, somehow everything continues to work (of course, for us not unchanged). For me, this means that I have to be the same for my family, for friends, acquaintances, and so on. This means the household chores, the garden, etc., but also the importance of the community I live in.
I don’t feel indispensable in my community, but I think when I have the opportunity to do anything for it, I can’t stand aside.
As far as my free time is concerned, I like to read, crochet, attend cultural events, etc. and - if possible - volunteering for causes I feel important. That’s how I got into this project, for which I am very grateful.
