Kuressaare is situated on Saaremaa, the biggest island in Estonia and is the centre of Saaremaa parish. Saaremaa is the place of nice and rich wild forests, wooded meadows, windmills, lovely beaches, spas, cafes and admirable historic architecture in Kuressaare. Kuressaares architectural pearl is the episcopal castle from the 14th century. Today it is a museum that is fully renovated and open for visitors. The centre of cultural life is Kuressaare Cultural Centre. The Cultural Centre offers a variable culture program all year round in different venues. Kuressaare Cultural Centre has four different halls. The main concert hall can accommodate more than 300 people.
