Caldarola is a town located about 25 kilometres southwest of Macerata which flourished during the late Middle Ages. At its amazing historic centre are the Palace and Castle Pallotta (documented since the 9th century), named after the cardinal who patronised the re-modelling of these buildings in the late 16th century. Unfortunately, the Castle is not accessible due to the damages provoked by the 2016 earthquake. The situation is the same for the Municipal Theatre closed since 2016. All the SPARSE events will take place in the multipurpose room dedicated to Annalena Tonelli. It is a multi-purpose hall of 15 m (wide) per m 70 (long), built following the earthquake by an association of Cesena, bearing the homonymous denomination. The structure is a shed, heated, with a metal roof with trusses, services and rooms / dressing rooms. It has a removable stage of the size m 8 (wide), m 6 (deep), height 80 cm walkable, equipped with a minimal service and equipped with 120 seats.
