Võru
Võru is a nice town in South-Estonia that together with its neighbour villages forms an unique cultural area with its own dialect and folklore in Estonia. The smoke saunas in Võrumaa are now on UNESCO World Heritage Site.
As Estonia is quite a plain country, still we have some hills. Most of them are in Võrumaa. The centre of Võrumaa is town Võru. There is located Võru Kannel, the biggest multi-use culture centre in the area founded as one of the first society houses during the National Awakening period late 19th century. Today Kannel has many different venues like courtyard, song celebration field in Kubja, theatre and film hall and a nice concert hall.
